Bangalore: There could not have been a worse nightmare for parents of the children studying in a top Bangalore school where a six-year-old girl was raped by two staff members. With the police on Tuesday proclaiming that the minor was in fact gangraped by two gym instructors and not by the skating tutor, parents are in a tizzy whether to send their wards to the school where such a heinous crime took place.

"We are unsure about what is happening there are new unfolds each day. I don't feel safe yet sending my child to school," said a worried parent.

The latest claims by police have resulted even more anxiety amongst the parents who are now looking for a safer haven for their kids.

"It is odd because I don't know who in reality was involved and if they have been nabbed, are there more," said another parent.

The Bangalore Police on Tuesday arrested the two gym instructors in the case.

Bangalore Commissioner MN Reddi said, "This is a case of gangrape. The incident happened on July 3."

The police also ruled out the involvement of the skating instructor Mustafa, who was also arrested in the case earlier.

Reddi said, "Mustafa was not present there at the time of crime. He was arrested because of circumstantial investigation but he has now been booked for gross misconduct in another school." The duo have been booked under Section 376 D of IPC Section 4 and 5 of POSCO (Protection of Child from Sexual Offences) Act.

The school was re-opened on Monday for classes 5 to 12 and it would be re-open for classes 1 to 4 on Wednesday.
