BANGALORE: Max Miss Bangalore, one of Bangalore’s most anticipated beauty pageants culminated in an entertaining battle of style and wits as 14 beauties competed for the coveted crown in the grand finale held at Lalit Ashok recently.Anookya Harish clinched the title of Max Miss Bangalore 2011 with her immaculate sense of style and intelligence. Swetha Janakiraman was the first runner up and Noyonita Lodh bagged the second runner up title.The Miss Photogenic and Miss Beautiful hair titles too were bagged by Anookya while Vandana Varadarajan and Elina Mathew were adjudged as winners of the Miss Figure and Miss Beautiful Eyes respectively.Noyonita Lodh walked away with the title of Miss Catwalk and Ruby Naaz was awarded the title of Miss Beautiful Skin.The event ensued to be a high profile affair in the presence of the who’s who of Bangalore and the girls were cheered on by over a thousand enthusiastic guests.Making the evening memorable were stellar performances by Indian contemporary dance group, Nritarutya and singer Shibani Kashyap while a high profile panel of judges including Vasanth Kumar, Executive Director- Max, Actress Ragini Dwivedi, Nadira Iqbal, Singer Shibani Kashyap and Krishika Lulla adding charm to the occasion.Apart from the lovely finalists, the show stealer was the extravagant fashion show choreographed by Sheetal Sharma.
