BANGALORE: Despite repeated forewarning by the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagar Palike (BBMP) against pasting film posters on the walls, film producers continue to promote their films in public area. After complaints registered by the BBMP, the Upparpet police have filed cases against five producers under Karnataka Open Place (Prevention of Disfigurement) Act 1981 on Saturday. Producers M H Sunil, Parthamma Rajkumar, Rakshita Prem, Ninge Gowda and H M Krishnamurthy have been booked.
