Bengal Boy’s Yoga Skills Gets His Name Registered In India Book Of Records
He is a resident of Gaddi, a remote village of Adra in Purulia district, West Bengal.

When there’s a will, there’s a way. Recently, a native of Purulia proved this saying right. According to reports, his name has been registered in the India Book of Records. He became the first Indian to do 88 push-ups in the Chakrasana yoga mudra in just one minute. He achieved this by relying on strength of mind and infinite willpower. He is currently making headlines for his unique record. The name of the boy is Paritosh Mahato. He is a resident of Gaddi, a remote village in Adra in Purulia district, West Bengal. As per reports, apart from studies, Paritosh Mahato had a keen interest in yoga from a young age. Since his childhood days, he has been participating in yoga competitions in different parts of the world. Paritosh has won several awards. Recently, he sent a video of him doing 88 pushups in Chakrasana Yoga Mudra in 1 minute to the India Book of Records website. After analysing that video, the India Book of Records authorities recognised Parithosh’s talent.

Paritosh received the award of the India Book of Records sent by the authorities. Paritosh said in an interview that it is very good to see his own name in the India Book of Records. It is now his dream to make his name in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Recently, in a media interaction, Paritosh shared that people should engage themselves in exercise to keep their bodies and minds healthy. His family and his villages are all proud of him after this success.

Earlier, Praanvi Gupta, a 7-year-old girl from India, has created a Guinness World Record by becoming the world’s youngest yoga instructor (female). She has been approved and certified as an RYT200 (registered yoga teacher) by the Yoga Alliance Organisation after completing the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course. According to the records website, she’s even younger than the youngest yoga instructor (male), Reyansh Surani, also from India, who received his certification in July 2021, at the age of 9 years and 220 days.
