Bengaluru Metro Services Between MG Road and Indiranagar to be Suspended from December 28-31st
The Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) in a statement, said that the services will be discontinued from 8pm on December 28, as the corporation is planning to take up repair works at the Trinity station.

Bengaluru: The Metro rail services of the purple line plying between MG Road and Indiranagar will stand suspended from December 28 to December 31 on account of repair works to be undertaken at the Trinity Station.

The Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) in a statement, said that the services will be discontinued from 8pm on December 28, as the corporation is planning to take up repair works at the Trinity station. The metro services will be resumed at 5 am on December 31, it added.

However, train services between Mysore Road to MG Road and from Indiranagar to Baiyappanahalli, will be operational with different headways ranging from 6 to 15 minutes.

As for the rest of the network, the services will be available normally.

On December 28, the train leaving on or before 7.30pm from Mysore Road will run up to Baiyappanahalli, while the train leaving Baiyappanahalli on or before 7.45pm will run up to Mysore Road. Trains departing after the aforementioned time will only be running between Mysore road to MG Road and Indiranagar to Byappanahalli stations, respectively.

Commuters traveling on North-South Line will face the issue of buying token for stations beyond MG Road on December 28, but only up to 6.45pm.

BMRCL will run free bus services between Cubbon Park Station to Baiyappanahalli Station on the night of December 28 between 8 to 11pm and for the whole day of December 29 and 30. Train services will be restored on December 31 morning at 5 after completion of maintenance work at Trinity Metro Station.
