All through the seven seasons of 'Bigg Boss', inmates have used multiple strategies - manipulation, secret coalition, link-ups - to make the most of their stay in the controversial house. And going by what made contestants Upen Patel and Aarya Babbar join Bigg Boss, they have their strategies in place to ensure they neither back down nor quit.
Since Upen knows how important it is to stay in Salman Khan's good books, he probably didn't think much before he said that he accepted Bigg Boss offer to interact with the superstar. "I joined Bigg Boss because it would allow me to meet you every Saturday," Upen said on the show. But it was former contestant Elli Avram who made everyone familiar with his true intentions. According to her, his body language wasn't ambiguous. Instead, it clearly explained his hidden intent. Elli, who had staged a performance with Upen, said his body language signaled his interest in girls. Yes, she was correct! Because within minutes of his hurried introduction, Upen told Elli, "Actually aapko dekh kar mujhe lagaa ki mai last season kyun nahi gaya."
And we all were shocked when Salman scanned the items in his bag and spotted a bikini, which also left Upen uncomfortable. A bit embarrassed with the revelation, Upen clarified, "Main nahi pehnunga. Ek pool hai wahan pe aur shayad koi apna swimming costume bhul jayein." Now how do you interpret this? As a hook-up strategy?
Upen is truly interested in having a relationship with women in the house. So don't be surprised to see him flirt, smile, tease female contestants and do just about anything to get their attention. He will seem to remember every conversation he had with the girls and will appear to pay attention to what they do, all to ensure he isn't evicted that soon.
So while Upen will most likely use his charm to convince other inmates to make preferences based on emotion, expect Aarya Babbar to do just the opposite! The fact that he was introduced by former contestant Armaan Kohli, he might have been coached into plotting, scheming to make his stay in the house last for the longest time. So in addition to Upen's sickening showmances, brace yourself for inconsequential tiffs, courtesy Arya Babbar.
The similarities between Armaan and Arya are hard to ignore. Both the Punjabi lads have a short fuse and getting into pointless arguments isn't new either. Armaan made the similarity even clearer when he said "Mai dil se dimaag se punjabi hoon, panga na hi lo toh better hai." While Arya, who is also open to have a linkup in the house, can be expected to talk to others in a manner that is convincing without others realizing that they are being manipulated, might manage to avoid eviction, but will that help him emerge as winner?
Will Arya's temper also hijack the life of Bigg Boss contestants? Will Arya, much like Armaan, make headlines for his big insane moves? Will he work towards ruining alliances in the house? Will he make a carbon copy of all nasty things that happened in the house last year? Will he use Armaan's strategy of manipulation to win the show?
