Birth centenary of Vasudevan Elayath

ANGAMALY:  The birth centenary celebrations of renowned Sanskrit scholar, poet and critic P C Vasudevan Elayath will be inaugurated by M Leelavathy, here, at 10 am on Friday.The celebrations are being organised by Kunjunni Raja Academy of Indological Research (KAIR).Academy chairman P C Muraleedharan will preside over the function. Kalady Sanskrit University Vice Chancellor J Prasad will be the chief guest.The Sahithya Nikasha Award, instituted by P C Vasudevan Elayath Memorial Trust, will be presented to M Leelavathy, KAIR secretary Girish Paliyath has said.
