BJP: No truck with BJD in future

ANGUL: Senior BJP leader LK Advani did not  utter  a single word against Naveen-led government in the State, which is in the dock over a series of corruption charges.Addressing a gathering here as part of his Jan Chetana Yatra, Advani called upon the people to not only root out corruption from the country but also make themselves free from taint.However, two BJP stalwarts from the State Jual Oram and National general secretary Dharmendra Pradhan minced no words in saying it was all over with the BJD. They set to rest all speculation on the revival of BJP-BJD alliance and made it clear that BJP will never make any alliance with BJD which they said, had cheated them in 2009. Pradhan went a step further predicting that days are not far when Naveen will be in jail following an indictment by Lokpal in connection with the Vedanta land case. Contrary to the Chief Minister downplaying the Jan Chetna Yatra, Pradhan said the rath yatra would definitely have an impact on the State.Advani said, “The response to my rath yatra this time is more than I received in 1990 during Ram Janmabhumi Yatra as youths in particular have come forward to join me in launching an awareness campaign to wipe out corruption from public life,” he said. Unfortunately, three MPs of the BJP, who worked as whistle-blowers to glorify our nation by exposing corrupt forces, have been arrested and jailed. It happened when a law to protect whistle-blowers is currently under process after the Cabinet approval, said Advani.
