New Delhi: The Opposition BJP continued to drag Prime Minister Manmohan Singh into the 2G spectrum scandal.
"Why is Manmohan Singh silent," asked a BJP spokesperson in Delhi today.
The critique comes ahead of Mondays Parliament session where the Prime Minister is expected to make a statement on the multi-crore scam.
Congress has so far hoped that Karunanidhi will at least see reason in case the Supreme Court comes down heavily on telecom minister A Raja.
Congress wants DMK to ask Raja to go and save it the embarrassment of asking a coalition partner. But with 18 seats in its kitty, DMK as the second biggest ally after the Trinamool Congress within the UPA.
In such a scenario, the end of Raja's reign, if it all it is to happen, won't be that easy.
