When the protesters performed ‘namaz’ on the road near Spencer Plaza, the police personnel tried to remove them. The protestors indulged in stone-throwing in which two women police  personnel suffered injuries. They also damaged the windshield of an MTC bus.The protestors also set fire to two motorbikes on Woods Road.
