ANANTAPUR: The inspection and inventory of various properties of Satya Saibaba, seems to have come to an end for now.All the cash, gold, silver and other valuables have been deposited with the banks and the Satya Sai Central Trust said that tax pertaining to the wealth found has been remitted to the government.Meanwhile retired IAS officer GSRCV Varaprasada Rao has been appointed as secretary of the Satya Sai Central Trust. With former secretary of the trust K Chakravarthy being inducted as a member of the trust, the post has fallen vacant.It may be recalled four new members including Chakravarthy have been inducted into the Trust recently.Varaprasada Rao had earlier worked as state panchayat secretary before retiring in 2001. He joined the Satya Sai Seva wing in 2004 and belongs to Kovuru in West Godavari district.TDP, CPI and several other organisations have decided to approach chief minister and the President to streamline the activities of the Trust, on the lines of the TTD, with a senior IAS officer heading the board to protect the properties of the Trust.
