Cattle auctioned for Rs 1.42 crore

BELGAUM: The auction of cattle of Green Buffalo Farm at Sutagatti village has generated Rs 1.42 crore.Assistant Commissioner Vijaymahantesh BD said that 931 buffalos and 121 cows were auctioned in the last six days.The buffalos and cows of the farm were starving after farm owner Sanjay Tenginakai absconded. As the farm owner, accused of cheating people through an online investment schemes could not be traced. District Magistrate Dr MN Ajay Nagbhushan had ordered auction of the animals.
