New Delhi: A Ghaziabad CBI court on Saturday will hear Dr Rajesh Talwar's bail application in the Aarushi Talwar murder case.
The Supreme Court on Friday ordered a trial in the double murder case to resume and Dr Talwar and his wife Nupur Talwar would be tried.
In a setback for the Talwars, the court said that the cognizance taken by the trial court against them is correct.
The CBI had claimed that the dentist couple had killed their daughter Aarushi Talwar.
The couple had in turn blamed the CBI of levelling false accusations against them resulting in the trial court summoning them.
14-year-old Aarushi, the only daughter of the Talwars, was found dead with her throat slit at the family's Noida residence on the intervening night of May 15-16, 2008 and the body of their domestic help, Hemraj, was found on the terrace the next day.
The regular trial will begin on February 6.
