Chennai businessman held in Bangalore

CHENNAI: The Bangalore police arrested a businessman, who was allegedly involved in the case of a returned cheque, in his house at Anna Nagar on Saturday.Police said a team from Chickpet police station, Bangalore arrested accused Lala Mimani (53) in his house at Thirumangalam following a complaint from one Arun Bagri of Bashaveshwara Nagara in Bangalore.The accused allegedly placed an order with Arun, wfor the purchase of chemicals worth `4 lakh and gave a cheque that later bounced. An arrest warrant was issued by a court in Bangalore.
