Co-accused in job scandal nabbed

BHUBANESWAR: The Crime Branch of West Bengal Police nabbed Sobhana Pa, co-accused in a job scam, from near the Sub- Collector office here.  Sobhana was here to secure the bail of her boyfriend Dimple Jena who is currently lodged at the Special Jail.Both Sobhana and Dimple were charged with duping job aspirants close to Rs  1 crore. They had floated a website using the name of Vedanta and recruited youths for various positions. Both had allegedly minted ` 50 lakh from Orissa and am equal amount in WB.When their unscrupulous activities were exposed in Orissa, the duo had shifted base to Kolkata where the CBI arrested Dimple following a complaint. The Bhubaneswar CBI had secured his remand subsequently. Sobhana though managed to give a slip to the cops. However, when Dimple was granted bail by the Kolkata High Court, Sobhana came all the way to the City to get her boyfriend out by producing the legal orders. She had no clue she was being trailed.In fact, WB Crime Branch had, in the meanwhile, lodged a case against the duo for cyber crime since the fraud they committed was carried out on a website. When Sobhana came here, the Crime Branch sent a team after her.
