However, some students from St Philomena’s College, JSS Pharmacy College and Teresian College have already left for home, saying they would return after the unrest subsides.Sister Sajitha, principal of Teresian College, has requested Northeasterners and Tibetan women students staying as paying guests and in rented houses to shift to the college hostels situated within the campus as it is safer.“The college has over 150 Northeasterners and over 60 Tibetan girls. I have asked them to stay put on the campus. If anyone insists on staying out, their local guardian should take the responsibility,” said Sister Sajitha.JSS Pharmacy College principal Shivakumar said that their campus is completely safe and most of the Northeast students are put up in hostels on the campus.
