KOCHI: The Kerala High Court on Monday directed the state government to complete the probe against K A Rauf in six months in a case relating to unauthorised transportation of rubber by evading sales tax with the active connivance of the police and the Income Tax officials.A Bench comprising Justice C N Ramachandran Nair and Justice Vinod Chandran issued the directive while considering a petition filed by C K Raju of Thiruvananthapuram against the inordinate delay in the investigation. The petitioner submitted that Rauf had sabotaged the probe. AG K P Dandapani submitted that the investigation is progressing and a final report will be submitted within six months. Recording the submission, the court asked the state to complete the probe in six months and asked to file a report.
