Normalcy resumed in Dadri area of Greater Noida on Thursday with the local market opening after a week-long closure in protest against the murder of BJP leader Vijay Pandit.

Normalcy resumed in Dadri area of Greater Noida on Thursday with the local market opening after a week-long closure in protest against the murder of BJP leader Vijay Pandit.

Though the traders opened their shops on Friday morning, they expressed dissatisfaction with the police claim of solving the murder case. They said they would wear black band in protest. The traders said they were still under "stress and fear".

Singh was on his way to Delhi when he was arrested from Khoda colony, said additional dirhe police have so far arrested six criminals in this connection and claimed to have solved the case. The police arrested the main accused, Arun Singh alias Anee, from Indirapuram police area in Ghaziabad on Thursday evening.

He told the police that he had suffered a loss of Rs 3 crore after Pandit burnt his house. Following this, he, along with others, had planned to kill Pandit.ector general of police Davinder Singh Chauhan.

Pandit's family members, however, were not satisfied with the police version and have demanded a CBI inquiry into the murder. Pandit was shot dead by four assailants in Dadri area on June 7.
