BANGALORE: The three-day strike by data-entry operators in sub-registrar offices across the state ended on Wednesday after the agitating employees agreed to resume duties.Director General of Department of Stamps and Registration Dr V Chandrashekhar told Express, “Activities would resume in the 220 sub-registrar offices in the state from tomorrow.”He detailed that the data entry operators had demanded enhancing their wages, regularisation of jobs and assurance to not terminate their jobs. “We ended the strike after the vendors agreed to increase their salaries at a meeting which was also attended by representatives of the agitators and the government,” he said. He added that vendors have assured to look into their other two demands as well.Activity in the 220 sub-registrar offices across the state came to a stand-still following the snap strike by the data entry operators.
