New Delhi: Days after a 19-year-old girl was murdered in the national capital after she was stabbed to death by her neighbours, CNN-IBN has accessed the post-mortem report which indicates she died due to eight major wounds.
"Post mortem report is a part of the investigation and investigation is still underway before that it is not right to say anything. Not planning to register any case for spreading lies," Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi said.
The two accused are in police custody. This case has become a point of contention between the Delhi Police and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had said that law and order in the capital has been deteriorating.
Nineteen-year-old Minakshi was brutally stabbed to death allegedly by two brothers living in her neighbourhood in central Delhi's Anand Parbat area for protesting their verbally abusing her on July 16.
