New Delhi: Implementation of APJ Abdul Kalam education loan scheme, job fairs and safety of girl students on campus were some of the key issues raised in the charter of demands released by AAP's students' wing Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti today for this year's DUSU elections.
Other important issues that find mention in the charter include transportation, hostel accommodation, wi-fi and U-special buses for Delhi University students and staff.
In a statement, CYSS also claimed that it was because of its initiative that three U-special buses were started in south and outer campus.
"The CYSS mission has been to create a difference in the way student politics has been perceived in the national capital," the statement said, adding that it strives and stands for a corruption-free and result-oriented
representation for the students.
The AAP students' wing said the demands were directed to the DU administration, state government and the Centre. CYSS also appealed to all students of Delhi University to participate in the Delhi University Students' Union polls.
