New Delhi: With the announcement of Android KitKat, the next version of Google's mobile OS, on Tuesday, Google seems to have given us an early look at the Nexus 5 device.
In a promotional video shot during the revealing of the Android KitKat lawn statue at Google's headquarters in Mountain View, a Google employee was seen taking pictures with a phone which hints at the next-gen Nexus device, dubbed Nexus 5. The phone in question has a vertical Nexus logo at the rear and a large camera lens.
The rear of the device also has an LG logo at the bottom. The LG logo is located at the same place as it is on the Nexus 4. It suggests that LG and Google have collaborated again for the next-gen Nexus smartphone.
The rear portion of the mysterious phone clearly hints at the new Nexus as we have not seen this design on any Nexus smartphone. After the device came to notice, Google removed the video and marked it private.
