MYSORE: Infosys founder N R Narayana Murthy called upon the company's board of directors, trainees and other employees to ensure it remains a respected company in Asia. He was addressing the board of directors and trainees at the Infosys campus here on Monday. Unveiling the stone plaque with his portrait bearing the name 'Narayana Murthy Centre of Excellence' in the presence of his wife Sudha Murthy and others, he said that the company was started in 1998 and felt that there is a need for good education to remove business problems.
He said that they had never thought that the Mysore campus, spread over 337 acres with a capacity to train 14,000 candidates, would receive this much attention. He said that the team of leadership should be built on sound leadership and training. Observing that the future of the company lies on how youths are trained and are able to serve, he advised the company's recruitment heads to exercise care and not dilute standards of
recruitment.
