Driver from Hyderabad found dead Near Vijayawada

VIJAYAWADA: A car driver A Rambabu (30) from Jagadgirigutta on the outskirts of Hyderabad was found murdered at Suryapalem village near Vijayawada city on Sunday.According to ACP west zone VNV Satynarayana, Rambabu owned an Indica Vista car and used to hire it out. On Saturday night, he went to Vijayawada to pick up a person who needed to be dropped at Shamshabad airport.But Rambabu’s body was found at Suryapalem village while his car was found at Ratham centre near Kanakadurgha temple. According to police, Rambabu was strangled to death with a cable and was stabbed in the stomach with a screw driver. Police found the murder weapons in the car.Inter Student Drowns in GodavariBhadrachalam: A student G Srinu (17) drowned in river Godavari near Turubaka village in Dummagudem mandal on Sunday. According to police, swimmers have been searching for the body but have not been able to locate it. The incident happened when as many as 10 students from different colleges went to the river for swimming. After lunch, they went for a swim in the canal. But all three except Aditya drowned. Police fished out the bodies and shifted them to a hospital at S Rayavaram for post mortem. Four Die as Van Rams into LorryVisakhapatnam: Four people were killed and three others seriously injured when a goods laden mini-truck in which they were travelling collided with a lorry near Chinnayyapalem of Sabbavaram mandal Sunday evening. The driver of the mini-truck was reportedly in a drunken state. The deceased were identified as U Bhaskara Rao (28), D Rajagopala Raju (50), S Ravi Kumar (40) and PTV Ramana Murty (40).
