KOCHI: Govinda Ram Meena, a deputy train superintendent, was arrested by the Railway Protection Force for misbehaving with a woman passenger in the Rajdhani-Thiruvananthapuram Express in the early hours on Friday.The train was stationed at the Ernakulam Junction station when the incident took place. The superintendent was in an intoxicated state and behaved rudely with a woman passenger.He then pulled the emergency chain while the train started moving from the station. The RPF officials, led by Ernakulam SI Roy Mathew, arrested and detained him. He was then presented before the court. Govinda has been remanded for 15 days, till March 2.According to Railway protection officials, incidents of unauthorised liquor sale in the Rajdhani Express have become quite common, with the staffcomplicit in the activity.
