DVS to spend 2 busy days in Udupi

UDUPI: After assuming charge as Chief Minister, D V Sadananda Gowda will tour Udupi district for the first time between August 20-21. District BJP president Uday Kumar Shetty told reporters that the CM would be extended a warm reception at the district border, near Hejamadi.The CM will inaugurate the indoor sports complex built at a cost of Rs 3 crore at Ajjarkad, then head to Malpe beach to lay the foundation stone for the installation of 32 ft high statue of Dwaitha philosopher Madhwacharya in granite.He will also inaugurate the administrative office of the Department of Fisheries at Malpe and take part in a felicitation programme organised by the fishermen.DVS would visit the district BJP office at Kadiyali and later the Shamili auditorium for a felicitation programme. A mega vehicle rally would follow.Gowda will later visit Kashimutt branch in Hemmadi in Kundapur to seek blessings of the Swamiji.
