New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has come under fire after he used a derogatory slang while describing Delhi policemen.
Three police officers have filed a complaint against Kejriwal's comments. An FIR has been registered against him under Section 504 of the IPC for intentional insult with the intent of provoking breach of peace.
This comes even as Kejriwal is seeking control over Delhi Police.
Keeping up his tirade against the Centre on functioning of Delhi Police, Kejriwal urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to look into his demand seriously, alleging that law and order situation in the capital was "on a decline".
"I request Prime Minister Narendra Modi with folded hands that the control of Delhi Police be handed over to us. He has to run the complete country. I am not saying Delhi Police officials are wrong,"
