GHMC takes up junction improvement

Along with that, he also directed for road widening and for construction of two bridges to Saroornagar Lake, one near Shiva Ganga Theatre and other at the Indira Priyadarshini Park.Commissioner along with D Sudhir Reddy, MLA and  local corporator B Subhashini inspected the lake and instructed to work on the widening of the exit and entrance road to th Saroornagar lake.The local representatives requested the Commissioner to make necessary arrangements for Ganesh immersion such as provision of proper street lighting and cranes at the immersion site and to clear the existing garbage dump near the entrance of the lake.Sudhir Reddy suggested that the existing fencing at the Saroornagar tank to be raised to at least up to 10 feet to curb dumping menace near the tank.first published:January 01, 1970, 05:30 ISTlast updated:January 01, 1970, 05:30 IST
