God is my strength

BANGALORE: What  are your spiritual beliefs? Our ancestors have woven stories about gods and the everlasting effect of that healing power which is somewhere always around us and wishes to be called upon when we are in distress and agony. That terminology has stayed with us human beings as God, the superior power. I sincerely believe in doing my duties without being worried about the results. I know God is there to help, guide and protect me when I’m going wrong.        What is your understanding of God? My God is my righteousness to live and my work. It’s my honesty and sincerity and harmless vision for all. There is no such thing as Ram, Allah, Jesus or Guru Nanak. For me, God is just that superior power which gave us life and the strength to deal with its problems. What are your spiritual practices? I try to spread warmth, happiness, hope and love. My small little advances to make this world a better place are nothing short of a spiritual practice for me. Do you visit any pilgrim centres? I don’t go to such places for religious reasons. I usually go there for peace and calmness that the place has to offer.  The visit to any spiritual place transports me to heaven on earth. Chandan Roy Sanyal is an actor
