Gurgaon tells women to stay at home after 8 pm
The malls have been directed to take permission from the Labour Department to have their women employees working beyond 8 pm.

New Delhi: The Gurgaon administration on Wednesday washed its hands clean off the twin rape cases in the city, telling women instead to stay at home and not work beyond 8 pm in commercial establishments.

The administration has reportedly directed all malls and commercial establishments to take permission from the Labour Department to have their women employees working beyond 8 pm.

A second rape was reported from Gurgaon on Tuesday night, which came within 48 hours of the gangrape of a 24-year-old, who was dragged out from her car near the Sahara Mall, taken to a flat and sexually assaulted by 7 men.

Five people have been arrested while two are still on the run, the police said.

All the accused are jobless youths and belong to village Madina of district Rohtak in Haryana, police claimed on Tuesday.
