Heavy Rains Expected in Delhi Today; IMD Issues Red Alert For Uttarakhand
IMD has forecast heavy rainfall in Uttarkhand, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh during the next 24 hours.

Rains are likely to lash the national capital and its adjoining areas during the next 24 hours. On Tuesday, the Met Department has predicted a downpour over Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad and Gurugram.

According to the IMD, light to moderate intensity rain is likely over Narela, Bawana, Alipur, Burari, Kanjhawala, Model Town, Karawal Nagar, Dilshad Garden, Seemapuri, Shahadra, Vivek Vihar, Jafarpur, Ayanaga and Deramand areas of Delhi.

Rains are also likely to hit Hindon AF Station, Bahadurgarh, Ghaziabad, Indirapuram, Chhapraula, Noida, Dadri, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, Manesar and Ballabhgarh regions of the NCR.

Heavy Rains To Hit Uttarakhand, Punjab And UP

The IMD has also issued a red alert for Uttarakhand as incessant rainfall is likely in the Himalayan state on Tuesday. Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh will also witness heavy downpours for the next 2 days.

In its daily weather bulletin, IMD has predicted heavy rainfall at isolated places over Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh Chhattisgarh from July 2 to  July 5, 2024.

IMD Predicts Heavy Rains In Gujarat And Maharashtra

The met department has also issued a heavy rain alert for the states of Gujarat, Goa and Maharashtra for the next 2-3 days. Heavy downpours are also likely in  Coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe during the next two days and in

South Interior Karnataka from July 3 to July 5, 2024.
