Held for lodging foreigners

POONTHURA: One person has been arrested for lodging four foreigners without informing the police. Ali Ahmed Fatahudeen, 61,  of Muttathara near Ambalathara was arrested by Poonthura police for giving residence to four Omani nationals. According to police,  the four persons,  two men and two women,  have been staying at Fatahudeen’s house since January 11.Fatahudeen had been working in Muscat for more than two decades and the foreigners are said to be his boss, wife and children.   All of them had passports and other proper records for entering and staying in India.  The District Magistrate remanded Fatahudeen to judicial custody for 14 days.
