High Court adjourns HDK petition

BANGALORE: The High Court on Tuesday has adjourned the hearing of the petition filed by former chief minister  and JD(S) state president HD Kumaraswamy and his wife Anitha Kumaraswamy seeking to quash the FIR filed against them by the Lokayukta Court.When the matter came up for hearing before Justice B V Pinto for the first time, he said that the complainant was his junior for a brief period and asked the counsel whether he had any objection to hearing the matter.The counsel replied in the that he did not have any.The matter was adjourned till Wednesday as the judge directed the complainant to appear before the court on the stated date.
