New Delhi: Buoyed by her narrow win in New Hampshire, New York senator Hillary Clinton is back at work, this time in a gambler’s paradise of Las Vegas.
Hillary has made her ninth appearance in Las Vegas since starting her campaign last year.
She canvassed neighbourhoods, met with possible caucus-goers. She then sat down for some Mexican food and talked with voters.
Hillary hit the streets in a working class Hispanic neighbourhood while her democrat rival Barrack Obama was yet to arrive in the state.
Her visit was not only about beating Obama to the punch, being first to come to the place since her New Hampshire win, it was also about shoring up the Hispanic vote.
But Obama is reported to have already secured the backing of two powerful labor unions in the state of Nevada which goes to polls on January 19.
