Raipur: Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev on Monday said he will not reply to Health Ministry's notice, claiming that his statement on AIDS was wrongly presented in the media.
He asserted that he never claimed that AIDS can be cured through Yoga.
he added that he had only said cancer could be cured and in the case of AIDS, Yoga could result in marked improvement.
Baba Ramdev claimed that the health condition of the Health Ministry was not good and the Health Ministry had been converted into a ministry of allopathy, in reference to Union Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss's stand on the issue.
"I have received the notice. But Baba Ramdev is neither a magic nor a remedy. Hence, I will not reply to that notice," he said.
He emphasised that diabetes could be "controlled" through yoga and the practitioner of yoga could help to get relief from the complications of diabetes.
However, blood pressure, thyroid, muscular dystrophy, cancer and many other diseases can be cured through the Yoga, and deaf and dumb can get encouraging result, he claimed.
