In Yellapur, Telangana, locals were thrown into a state of alarm due to the sighting of an unusually large rattlesnake. The snake, measuring over 14 feet long, was spotted on Saturday afternoon in the courtyard of a man named Vishnu Naykar. Faced with this horrific sight, the community called upon Snake Suraj, a famous local who has already rescued 500 snakes. Suraj Shetty swiftly arrived at the scene to manage what turned out to be a challenging rescue operation. The task of capturing the 12 kg snake was complicated by heavy rainfall, making it difficult to manage both the slippery snake and the wet conditions. After more than thirty minutes of effort, Suraj successfully relocated the rattlesnake to the forest.
The villagers expressed their relief and gratitude towards Suraj Shetty for addressing their concerns and safely handling the snake during such adverse weather conditions. This event was indeed a thrilling episode for everyone involved.
Recently, a King Cobra bit a snake-catcher in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. The cobra passed away while the young man was receiving treatment in the hospital and recovered fully. This peculiar and startling case originates from the Naryavalli police station region in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. About 14 days after the incident, the report arrived at the police station. Recently, the police contacted the snake catcher to take his statement, and this is when the entire situation was revealed.
