Mumbai: Police on Thursday detained a Jet Airways crew member with Rs 2.6 crore in fake currency while he was leaving for Bangkok.
The crew member was allegedly involved in a fake currency smuggling racket.
Jet Airways has issued a statement saying the airlines is co-operating with the relevant authorities in their investigation. The company is planning to take its own disciplinary action as well.
