Mohammad Yasin Malik, Shabir Ahmad Shah have been allegedly detained as they had lent their support to the 'Million March' rally which was called to counter Modi's Srinagar rally on the same day.
Srinagar: The People's Democratic Party-Bharatiya Janata Party government in Jammu and Kashmir on Monday launched a crackdown on separatists ahead of Syed Ali Shah Geelani's 'Million March' rally on November 7.
Several separatist leaders including Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front chairman Mohammad Yasin Malik and Shabir Ahmad Shah have been allegedly detained.
Both the detained leaders had lent their support to the 'Million March' rally which was called to counter Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Srinagar rally on the same day.
