BANGALORE: The Lokayukta Special Court extended the judicial custody of former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa and former minister S N Krishnaiah Setty till November 15, on Thursday.Though jail authorities produced Setty before the court, Yeddyurappa was not present. Judge N K Sudheendra Rao asked the prison staff, who had escorted Setty, why Yeddyurappa was not brought to the court. The staff answered that there was shortage of staff to escort the former CM. The judge was not convinced with their answer and he issued a show cause notice to the Prison Superintendent asking him to explain why Yeddyurappa was not produced before the court. He remanded Setty and Yeddyurappa to judicial custody till November 15.
