BANGALORE: Eleven persons, including three persons of a family and four youths, died in four separate road accidents in Bangalore, Tumkur, Puttur and Mandya on Sunday. In Tumkur, four youths died on the spot when a private bus rammed into the motorcycle they were travelling on at Mallasandra village near St John PU college on Bangalore-Honnavar NH-206. The dead were aged around 25 and belonged to Hassan and Shimoga districts and were working in garment factories.Tumkur Rural police have registered a case and are investigating.In Bangalore, three, including two women of a family, were killed on the spot and two others sustained injuries after the car they were travelling in rammed into a stationary lorry at Avalahalli Bridge near K R Pura on NH-4 in the outskirts of the city.The deceased have been identified as Manoj (27), his mother Anantha Lakshmi (58) and her sister Geetha (45). They belonged to Bellary and were returning to the city from Tirupati.Avalahalli police have registered a case.Meanwhile, in Mandya, two youths died on the spot when their motorcycle hit a KSRTC bus near Jasti Koppalu at Nagamangala taluk. The deceased are Girish (27) and Dhananjay (28). They were both residents of Mallenahalli, Turuvekere taluk in Tumkur district. The police have registered a case and investigations are on.
