BANGALORE: The problems of Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa seem to aggravate in the coming days as his rivals in the BJP are gearing up to seek his ouster immediately after the submission of the Lokayukta report on illegal mining.
With the leakage of the Lokayukta report leaving no doubt about the indictment of the CM in the mining scam, antiYeddyurappa group in the party has suddenly become active and started holding a series of meetings to chalk out the future course of action. The RSS leaders too held a meeting on Friday. The rivals of Yeddyurappa have decided to go to Delhi immediately after the Lokayukta submits his report and put pressure on party high command for a leadership change, keeping "party's image" in mind.

Unlike in the past, they believe that they have enough reasons this time to demand Yeddyurapa's ouster and the party high command will accede to their demand, as it is the party's image that is at stake.

"If they don't take action (against Yeddyurappa), how will the party face Parliament session which is starting from August first week," they ask.

Meanwhile, the BJP high command has issued a gag order on all its state leaders against carrying out a personal attack on Lokayukta Justice Santosh Hegde.

The central party leadership is said to have told the state leaders that at least till the time he demits the office, nobody should criticise Hegde.

What's your reaction?
