Thiruvananthapuram: Former minister KB Ganesh Kumar and ruling UDF MLA raised corruption allegations against the personal staff of PWD minister VK Ibrahim Kunju in the state Legislative Assembly.
It was during a calling attention that the MLA has raised the issue and put the UDF in a fix.
The Speaker ruled that protocol was not followed before raising such an issue. It has to be tired in writing to the Speaker.
Kumar said that if it has to be written and given, then he can give against various other ministers also.
When Kumar was not allowed to present his case, he said that he will hand it over to the opposition and the press.
Kumar also asked to form a legislative assembly committee and said that he will present the facts before the committee. But the Chair ruled that it cannot be allowed as the protocol was not followed.
The opposition raised the issue and asked the Speaker to form a legislative committee.
