RJD Supremo Lalu Prasad to address rally in Baisi, Purnea on Saturday. Purnea will go to polls on April 24.
On Thursday, Lalu had alleged that muslim girls who came to cast their votes at booth number 180 in Gaya's Belaganj area on Thursday were misbehaved with by an official deployed at poll duty, claims RJD supremo Lau Parasd Yadav.
Lalu Prasad said that the electoral officer present at the booth harassed the muslim voters by saying communal words.
Lalu Prasad has also produced a CD of the incident in front of the reporters as an evidence of the incident.
According to the RJD chief, clashes erupted at the booth after the girls informed about the misbehaviour of the election officer at booth Number 108 in Belaganj. The local police had also opened fire to control the situation after which polling was cancelled.
RJD chief Lalu Prasad has demanded a strict action against the accused as he has sent the CD to Election Commission of India for further action.
