Mamata Banerjee conveyed her invitation to Barack Obama through visiting Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday said she would love to welcome US President Barack Obama to the state.
She conveyed her invitation to him through visiting Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
"I told her (Clinton) that President Obama along with his wife should visit Kolkata if he gets an opportunity. I have requested her to visit Kolkata again. We want good relations with everybody," said Banerjee.
Clinton on Monday met the chief minister in Kolkata, greeting her with a namaste.
