BERHAMPUR: Hearing on the bail petition of Subhasree Panda alias Mili would be held on Saturday, said Rayagada Additional District Judge Girish Misra on Friday. Mili, wife of Maoist leader Sabyasachi Panda, is facing criminal charges and currently lodged in Gunupur sub-jail.The bail petition was filed by her lawyer on November 11 but the ADJ asked for the case diary and directed the police to produce the same before November 18.Police submitted the case records before the ADJ court and also filed a petion to try the case at Rayagada instead of Gunupur.However, Mili’s lawyer objected and stated that as the ADJ court is competant to conduct the trial, the case should be held at Gunupur.Patnaik also filed a fresh bail petition for Mili and after going through the records, ADJ reserved his judgment for Saturday.
