HYDERABAD: A 30-year-old youth, who went missing from Shamshabad few days ago, was found murdered amid bushes on Sunday. Shamshabad police suspect the victim's relative behind the murder. Cyberabad police said that Tarya, a daily wage labourer hailing from Mahaboonagar district, was found dead with severe head injuries. The role of Shankar, a close relative of the victim, is suspected. A couple of months ago, Tarya and his wife, Magamma, came to the city in search of a livelihood and met Shankar, who works as a watchman in a farmhouse. The victim sought Shankar's help to search a job and the latter promised to do the needful. One day, Tarya pulled up Shankar after finding him moving closely with Mangamma. Bearing a grudge against Tarya, Shankar allegedly hatched a plan to kill him and took Tarya to a toddy shop. Tarya fell unconscious after consuming alcohol and Shankar allegedly hit Tarya with a boulder. As Tarya went missing for the last few days, the family members of the victim lodged a complaint. Shamshabad police registered a case and investigation is on. It is learnt that Shankar is in police custody.
