Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Wednesday met the family promising them justice. He said that the government will provide all aid to the family if the election commission permits. He has also promised jobs to the victim's family.

Meanwhile, a sketch of the suspect was released by police on Wednesday even as a postmortem revealed 38 big and small wounds on the victim's body.

No arrests have been made so far in connection with the murder of the woman, a law student, in her small wayside house in Perumbavoor on April 28, though three persons have been picked up for questioning.

The law student, who hailed from a poor family, was subjected to rape and brutal assault using sharp edged weapons before being murdered at her house in Perumbavoor on April 28. She was found dead in a pool of blood at her one room home at 8 PM on the same day by her mother when she returned from work.
