The Madhya Pradesh HC has sought a reply from the state government after an infant's body was found bitten by ants in a government hospital's mortuary in Indore.
The State Health and Medical Education Department and the hospital have to file a reply by June 21.
A 3-day-old infant died at a government hospital in Indore following vaccination. The agony of the family worsened after the body of the child which was kept at the hospital's mortuary was bitten by ants.
The callous hospital staff allegedly did not follow care while storing the body after which ants surrounded and bit the corpse.
