New Delhi: Himanshu Sabharwal, son of professor H S Sabharwal who died after being assaulted allegedly by some ABVP activists in Ujjain, on Tuesday moved the Supreme Court seeking a CBI enquiry into the incident.
The court has decided to hear the matter on September 25.
Meanwhile, NSUI workers on Tuesday staged a hunger strike here demanding immediate action against all those responsible for Professor H S Sabharwal's death in college
poll violence at Ujjain.
The symbolic hunger strike was held outside the State Congress headquarters as only two persons have so far been booked for Sabharwal's death though 15-20 people were allegedly involved in assulting him, NSUI sources said.
They said NSUI will "continue its stir till the remaining persons involved in the attack were booked."
