Mumbai: Neil Nitin Mukesh's brother Naman is also interested in the movie business. But not in singing like his dad (Nitin) and grandfather (Mukesh) nor in acting like his elder sibling. Naman is interested in direction and, of late, has been accompanying the star to film events and shoots.
Recently he was spotted at a filmi bash and there was buzz that Neil was keen on calling the shots behind the camera. Says a source, "Though Naman is only 20 and studying, he has already made up his mind. He is keen to make a film and is expressing his desire to do so."
Adds the source, "He also wants to have an early start. Naman is keen to be one of the youngest directors in Bollywood. He has been exposed to tinsel town and has already begun thinking what he would like to make as his directorial debut."
Earlier, Naman had made a short film 'Eyes Wide Shut', a voice for poverty around India as part of his college project.
Best buddy
Though Naman is 10 years younger to Neil, he considers his bro as his best buddy as well as his 3 am friend. The big age gap has never been an issue between the siblings. Says Neil, "Creativity has no boundary in the family.
We believe in entertaining audiences be it by singing, acting or directing." He adds, "Yes Naman wants to get into direction and is currently assisting Abbas Mustan in 'Race 2'. Maybe some day he will write a script and direct me."
